Associate Pastor James “Rick” Armstrong is a dedicated servant-leader at Greater Faith Kingdom Ministries (GFKM), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing God’s Kingdom. Serving as second in command to the Bishop and Chairman of the Advisory Board, Pastor Rick is instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and spiritual health of the church.
Known for his unwavering commitment to the Gospel, Pastor Rick supports the church’s vision and ensures the smooth operation of various ministries. His life is a testament to God’s grace, reflecting humility, integrity, and deep devotion to Christ.
Alongside his wife, Associate Pastor Diane Armstrong, he co-leads the Marriage Ministry, counseling and guiding couples to build strong, Christ-centered relationships. As Director of the Music Ministry, his musical talents and heart for worship contribute to the church’s vibrant praise and worship experience.
Pastor Rick also leads the Audio/Visual Ministry, enhancing the worship experience through technology. His passion for worship extends beyond the church walls, as he sings professionally with a local quartet group, sharing his love for God through music.
Having received his Ministerial License under the leadership of Bishop Darnell Johnson, Pastor Rick is committed to serving in ministry. A devoted father and husband, he models Christ-like love and leadership within his family, mentoring his children in the ways of the Lord and exemplifying how a husband should lovingly lead his wife, Pastor Diane Armstrong.
