Korika Johnson is an author, leader, and passionate servant whose love extends to all people—regardless of background, belief, or walk of life. She is known for her warm heart, compassionate spirit, and unwavering commitment to meeting people where they are, reflecting Christ’s love in action.

Serving alongside her husband, Bishop Darnell Johnson, she is a vital part of the leadership at Greater Faith Kingdom Ministries, Inc., a vibrant, non-denominational church dedicated to empowering lives through the love of God. As First Lady and Director of the women’s ministry, The Sisterhood, Lady Korika leads with purpose and compassion, inspiring women to embrace the fullness of their divine identity and calling.

A gifted writer, Lady Korika published her debut novel, Joy Comes in the Mourning, in 2009 to widespread acclaim. The book was named Top Pick of the Year by Black Book Reviews, received the Seal of Approval from the Lupus Foundation of America Patient Education Committee, was featured in Lupus Now Magazine (Summer 2010), and was voted Best Christian Novel of 2010 by Christian Story Teller. Her passion for storytelling is rooted in a desire to uplift, comfort, and connect—offering hope to every reader, whether they share her faith or not.

With a background in journalism, her work has appeared in esteemed publications like The Washington Post. Through her writing, Lady Korika blends authenticity and encouragement, offering real stories about real people facing real challenges. Her message is clear: there is purpose behind the pain, God’s presence in the process, and preservation after the storm.

She has lived victoriously while managing three chronic illnesses She is a beacon of resilience and a voice of encouragement. Her motto—“Giving Glory Through Stories of Hope”—underscores her deep desire to glorify God while impacting the world around her.

In addition to her divine assignment as a writer, Lady Korika plays a pivotal role in church administration, working closely with regional leaders in the Washington, D.C. area to strengthen ministry infrastructure, develop websites, and secure funding for community and Kingdom-building projects. In 2023, she was officially licensed as a minister under the leadership of her husband.

As the wife of Senior Pastor Darnell F. Johnson, Lady Korika is a pillar of strength, wisdom, and support. Together, they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters. Lady Korika’s life is a living testimony of faith, love, and perseverance. She continues to serve with open arms and a heart full of grace—extending God’s love to everyone, with no exceptions.
