Congregational Care Team (Nurses Ministry)
The Congregational Care Team at Greater Faith Kingdom Ministries, composed of compassionate and qualified nurses and caregivers, serves as an extension of the pastoral team to attend to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of members experiencing sorrow, sickness, or setbacks. This ministry is rooted in love, empathy, and Christian service—demonstrating the heart of Christ through intentional care and support.
Whether it’s providing on-site medical attention during services, visiting members in hospitals or nursing homes, or offering comfort to grieving families, the Congregational Care Team is there to ensure that no member walks through life’s challenges alone. They monitor the health and safety of the congregation during worship gatherings, assist in emergencies, and offer guidance on wellness and preventive care.
In times of loss or hardship, the team reaches out with prayer, presence, and practical help—supporting individuals and families with encouragement, resources, and a ministry of presence. Their goal is to foster a healing environment within the church and to be a visible sign of God’s mercy and compassion.
Through their faithful and tender care, the Congregational Care Team upholds the church’s commitment to minister to the whole person—body, soul, and spirit—and ensures that every member feels seen, valued, and supported in their time of need.
If you are a nurse, health professional, or someone with a heart to serve in caregiving, we invite you to consider joining this vital ministry.
