Ways to Give
If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated. - Luke 6:38

ABOUT BISHOP DARNELL JOHNSON

“I was called to preach, not to judge.”

A native of Washington, D.C., Bishop Johnson was educated in the District of Columbia Public Schools and later attended the Sword of the Spirit Bible Institute, where he was ordained. His ministry journey also included serving under Archbishop Robert E. Wilson at the Master’s Circle Christian Fellowship International. There, he was equipped for his pastoral calling and had the opportunity to assist in training ministers to become devoted disciples and servants of the Lord.

Throughout his pastoral ministry, Bishop Johnson has demonstrated a heart for people and a commitment to creating an atmosphere where everyone can encounter the grace and love of God. He led the transformation of the Lord’s House of Glory First Community Based Chapel, cultivating a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals and families could grow spiritually.

Answering God’s call to an even greater work, Bishop Johnson planted Greater Faith Kingdom Ministries, a Kingdom-focused ministry committed to Winning Souls, Making Disciples, and Developing Leaders. His vision is to create a place where people from all walks of life can experience God, discover their purpose, develop their gifts, and be empowered to make an impact in the Kingdom and in their communities.

Bishop Johnson’s heart for service extends beyond the pulpit. He is the founder of Real Men CARE, Inc. (RMC), a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting husbands who care for their ill wives. Through this work, he has provided encouragement, guidance, and empowerment to male caregivers as they navigate the unique responsibilities and challenges of caring for those they love.

Mentorship and discipleship remain central to Bishop Johnson’s ministry. He is passionate about developing strong disciples of Christ and equipping others to serve with faith, integrity, compassion, and purpose. His personal ministry philosophy is captured in the simple yet powerful declaration, “I was called to preach, not to judge.” That conviction shapes his approach to ministry and his desire to reach people with the transforming message of Jesus Christ—regardless of their background or where they may be on their journey.

Bishop Johnson is married to Korika L. Johnson, and together they are the proud parents of two daughters, Brooke and Taylor. His commitment to God, family, ministry, and service continues to define his life as he leads with faith, integrity, compassion, and a steadfast desire to see lives transformed through the power of God.
