At Greater Faith Kingdom, our heart’s desire is for everyone to experience salvation and live a life fully dedicated to Christ. We want each person to walk in the newness of life that only Jesus can bring. This newness begins with salvation but doesn’t stop there. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commands His followers to baptize new believers, and Bishop Darnell Johnson takes this command seriously.
Baptism at Greater Faith is available to all who have been saved—meaning those who have personally accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and have repented of their sins. You don’t have to be a member of Greater Faith to be baptized, but it’s essential that you are a believer in Christ before taking this step.
Salvation transforms us into new creations in Christ, and church membership naturally follows as a way to grow, connect, and serve together as part of the body of Christ. We encourage every believer to embrace both salvation and church membership as integral parts of their spiritual journey. Through salvation, we are made new in Christ. Through church membership, we find community and support. And through baptism, we publicly declare our faith, symbolizing the new life we’ve received in Christ.
If you’re ready to take this step, or if you’re interested in learning more about baptism, please contact us at outreach@greaterfaithkm.org.
