Ways to Give

Ways to Give
If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated. - Luke 6:38

Don’t Flirt, Flee!

Deuteronomy 20:3, 17–18

“Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”
Deuteronomy 20:3 (NIV)

God is true to His Word. Time and time again, He has proven Himself to be a way-maker, a defender, and a deliverer. He doesn’t just leave us in temptation or danger without a plan—He always provides a way of escape. The question is: Will we take it?

Too often, instead of fleeing from sin, we flirt with it.

We linger near temptation. We entertain what we should rebuke. We toy with things God told us to tear down. But let this be a warning: the enemy is not a gentleman. He will not play fair. He will not stop at temptation. His goal is destruction.

“Completely destroy them… Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God.”
Deuteronomy 20:17–18

God warned the Israelites to destroy the enemy completely—not because He is harsh, but because He is wise. He knew that whatever they didn’t deal with would eventually deal with them. And the same goes for us. The sins we excuse, ignore, or minimize will eventually become the sins that consume us.

Flirting Leads to Falling

Sin doesn’t always start with a bold step. Sometimes it begins with a glance, a thought, a compromise. That’s why the Bible doesn’t say “negotiate with sin” or “understand its root.” It says FLEE.

  • Don’t flirt with jealousy—flee.

  • Don’t flirt with bitterness—flee.

  • Don’t flirt with lust, gossip, pride, unforgiveness, or rebellion—flee.

Your soul is worth protecting. Your calling is worth preserving. And your victory is already promised—but you must cooperate with God’s escape plan.

Die Daily

If we want to walk in freedom, we must die daily—die to our flesh, to our pride, to our old habits, to sin in every form. Because if we don’t kill it, it will kill us.

“For the wages of sin is death…” – Romans 6:23

God’s mercy will always give us a way out—but mercy rejected becomes judgment invited.

So don’t play with the enemy. Don’t flirt—flee.

The Escape is Available

Right now, God may be pointing out your exit. That unhealthy relationship. That compromising habit. That conversation you’re not supposed to be part of. That place your spirit knows you shouldn’t go.

Don’t hesitate. Don’t reason. Don’t delay.

Take the way of escape. Run toward life. Run toward freedom. Run toward Christ.
