Ways to Give

Ways to Give
If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated. - Luke 6:38

God’s Got It

Deuteronomy 11:11–12

There is nothing we could ever need or long for that God hasn’t already seen, prepared, and provided for in His perfect timing. When God has something for you—be it a promise, a blessing, a breakthrough, or a healing—He doesn’t just hand it to you casually. He watches over it. He tends to it. He protects it.

“But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven. It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.”
Deuteronomy 11:11–12 (NIV)

This verse is a powerful reminder that the things God has in store for us are not just out there waiting in the dark. They are being cared for, covered, and cultivated by His own hands until the appointed time comes for us to step into them.

A Testimony from the Valley

I remember when I was deep in the throes of sickness. My body was weary. My heart was heavy. I cried out to God more times than I could count—until the tears simply stopped flowing. I isolated myself from people, slowly accepting what I assumed was my fate. I prepared myself for what I believed was certain death.

But what I didn’t realize at the time was that my sickness was not unto death. What God had for me wasn’t the end, it was healing. But not just healing in my body—healing in my soul, in my outlook, in my faith.

What He had for me required me to endure hardness as a good soldier. It required pressing through the pain, the silence, the uncertainty. It demanded faith in the dark. And even when I was ready to give up, God wasn’t. He had already prepared my healing. He had already spoken life over me.

I just had to hold on until it was time for me to possess what He had preserved.

God Is Tending to Your Promise

Whether you’re praying for restoration, waiting for direction, or believing for healing—know this: God has already got it. He’s not scrambling for answers. He’s not figuring it out as He goes. He has already gone before you.

Just like the land in Deuteronomy, the promise is already being watered from heaven. God’s eyes are continually upon it. He’s making sure it’s just right for your arrival. He’s been protecting what’s yours while preparing you to receive it.

Don’t Let the Delay Fool You

If you’re in a hard season, don’t be deceived into thinking it means God has forgotten you. He hasn’t. He’s just making sure that when you walk into your promised place, you’re strong enough to stand in it and wise enough to steward it.

So hold fast. Stay the course. Endure. Trust. Hope. Believe.

Because what God has for you—He’s already got it. And when the time is right, He’ll release it to you in full.
